Last fall, as a culmination of our Good Brunches series, we hosted 4 singer songwriters and poets touring from the UK — who creatively combining music and the spoken word. They performed a series of house concerts and even an impromptu sidewalk show in Hemisfair park.
It was a true pleasure to get to see how Gav, Chris, Harry and Martin use their art and vocations to connect with others and invest in the communities they pass through — and to introduce them to some Texas beer and BBQ.
Check out their music here, here and here. And Harry’s TED talk (a poem for lonely prime numbers — worth it).
