Good Acres is a network of faith and community leaders with a mission to be Good Neighbors in San Antonio and who are exploring ways to creatively steward our resources and property toward Creative Problem-Solving in our Communities. While we highlight and support faith and other mission-driven organizations, this network is also made up of nonprofit leaders, city government and real estate and development professionals who share a vision to see community members engaged and property activated for the good of our community.

RELATIONSHIP: The heartbeat of this connected network is relationships. Roundtables are an opportunity to meet like-minded leaders and engage in conversation around the table about what it means to be ‘congregations in community’.

STORY: Roundtable conversations feature a theme and a leader sharing their perspective and experience as it relates to being ‘congregations in community’. Once a quarter, we do a “Field Trip” as an opportunity to visiting neighborhood projects and hearing the stories of pracitioners in our network as we are inspired by Ideas & Models. 

RESOURCES: We finish each gathering with a practical take-home resource such as a workbook to take back to your congregation and continue to work on concepts discussed. (A combination of printed and digital, some of these are only available in-person!)
